Well i love older cars, and i love my rado. so i put them together. yes theres ALOT of work in chopping. the h3 front would relatively bolt right on, with mods to the back of the fenders and the hood with 2'' wheel spacers. Did all the work to put the h3 front on but ran across this first. At least i have a truck to drive again instead of my 68 olds w31 which gets 3 miles per gallon.... I just couldn get rid of her after she got hit so she on her second life. haha

I've seen something similar on ecomodder.com:
http://ecomodder.com/forum/showthread.p ... 11611.html http://ecomodder.com/forum/showthread.p ... p-583.html The first one might help on the "how to build a frame" part. The second one is where a guy built one and is trying to get a business going. Hopefully this helps out.

Could you start with a colorado hard top tonneau cover and frame up the front sides to fit it up to cab height? That way you would have all of the lift/door bracketry in place.
http://www.andysautosport.com/chevrolet ... 79811.html Or you could morph the hard tonneau cover to a cap(topper) cut down at a slant and for sure utilize the front window behind the cab and then probably some side windows with some retrofitting. It would be more expensive (unless you can find a used cover and cap) but it would give you a lot to work with. Or cut down a cap/topper at the slant you like and put a soft tonneau cover on it...same look but a little different way to get there. Sorry if these ideas are dumb...
