I have a 2008 Z85 standard cab with the standard split bench. Recently took a long trip with the wife and she was miserable by the end because she couldn't get comfortable and recline the seat. Would like to get some used reclining buckets but not finding much available for standard cab. However there are a number of options for used seats from crew cabs. Do these interchange with the standard cab seats? Based on what pictures I can find it appears they would, but don't want to spend the money only to find out they don't Suppose I could swap them onto my existing seat frames too. Just looking for confirmation that this is a viable swap. Thanks in advance for any info!!!!!!

They probably will fit but even so how much reclining will you get with the standard cab ? Granted every little bit helps but will it be enough in your case?

My 2011 regular cab came with the same reclining split-bench (with armrest) that both my LT extended cab and my LT crew cab had, so it seems to me that you shouldn't have any problems getting one to fit. While they won't recline all the way, it is helpful to be able to adjust the angle somewhat. Since we're a family of short people, we have the seats up enough to be able to recline them even more than we need.

Thanks for the info guys. Agree that there isn't a lot of room for reclining, but short of getting a new truck will have to do. When I got the truck I was going to be the only one using it, but a through a combination of my wife getting a company car we can't use for long personal trips and my son taking my wife's car the Collie is getting a lot more road time than originally planned.

oh wow that really sucks James, I figured I was just getting the shaft for buying the cheapest model LOL
gkhize - What kind of prices did you find for replacements? Even "fair" (not even good!) condition junk yard ecliners in my area are $350 each. F-that. PS - I believe all seat types mount to the same holes, so they should all be interchangeable |

I believe I am barely a step up from a work truck britishrich. It is manual everything, only had am/fm when I bought it. That seems crazy high for colorado swats but maybe I am off base. I haven't checked on prices.
