You are correct. The relay mod does not affect the function of the fog lights. The only thing that changes is your low beams will stay on with the high beams. The fog lights will NOT come on with the high beams. The fog lights will come on with the low beams only.

#47 (beam select). There are 3 relays on the edge closest to the cab of the truck. The beam select relay and two square relays.

The jumper is soldered between the top of the frame and the 87a contact.

The best engine in the world is the vagina, it takes any size piston, its self lubricating, starts with 1 finger, and every 4 weeks does an oil change. It's a pity the ECU is so damn temperamental. -- Author Unknown

Glad it worked for you. I've been running mine for over 2 years now. No blown fuses, melted wires, melted relays, or unusually often blowing headlight bulbs
