They're on the top ( It's an Inline engine not a V ) and they are under the big black box on the top that says Vortec (2700/2900/3500/3700).

Buy the AC Delco iridiums - they are pre-gapped. DO NOT try and gap iridium plugs - you'll screw them up.

Your truck should have come from the factory with iridium plugs. If you are going to replace the plugs, get new iridiums (AC Delco, NGK, Denso).
They are pregapped, don't mess with them.

What the gap should be depends on the plug......but as others have said, the iridiums should come pregapped regardless of manufacturer, and if you didn't buy iridiums, take them back and get iridiums.

Question: If you haven't pulled the spark plugs, how do you know you have a spark plug problem?

If you have to gap your plugs chances are your puttin in cheap copper plugs or somethin. Get Iridiums or Platinums and be done with it.

Gap is .042 - .044"
