Re: Need Wiring Schematics or TSBs? Look here!

Awesome thread! As a new Colorado owner I'll definitely have to bookmark this. However, there was one particular TSB I was looking for that wasn't among the plethora available. Specifically, I'm looking for TSB #3019 (NHTSA Item #10008785), which addresses the "fluttering" noise that sometimes happens in the 2004 models when the blower is on. Anyone have a copy of this readily available?

I'll try and pull it tomorrow at work if I get a chance....hopefully it won't be as busy as today. If you can, shoot me an e-mail and remind me if you haven't heard anything by mid-afternoon....on busy days I don't usually check the forum, but my e-mail is always open in the background.

Send a message via MSN to Millstone
The 2004 I5 page links to all I4 documents... might want to check that.

Great Information here! I am dealing with a problem of some cut wire in the engine compartment. The drawings should help out. The only thing I see that I can't follow are the purple wires that say "Computer Data Lines System". Is there a separate computer I'm not seeing? I have 2 or 3 of the purple lines that are cut that I will have to trace.

The purple wires run on a 'bus' system. They link to all the computers in the vehicle. Not saying if the wire is purple, it is a data line because I am sure there are other purple wires.

Best way to determine is to find out the exact connector pin the cut wires attach to by unplugging the modules and doing an ohm test (or trace the wire to the pin). If you mix up the purple wires you will have more issues.

Well I finally got it! Not my daily driver so I only got an hour or so every week to work on it. The drawings help a ton! One of the purple wires was a fuel level sensor, that was what saved me. Ohmed it the engine compartment and got it to correct pin. Now I get back on track working on the fun stuff! Thanks for the help!!
