push harder on the handle. you have to collapse the ribbed hose that is over the nozzle to work. make sure you are in the hole of the neck. make sure its gas and not diesel. not trying to make you sound stupid, thats just all i can think off.

Can't get it to flow in at all, or can't get it to flow in well?
Right around 100K I had an EVAP solenoid go bad, and the result was a CEL and I could only put in about a half a gallon at a time before the pump nozzle would shut the pump off. Don't remember how much it was to replace, but I think it was right around $100 (including labor). |

I've had problems with the purge solenoid valve sticking. If it is stuck closed, when you take the gas cap off you will hear it suck air in, and have problems filling. Stuck open, you will get the gas cap message. If you think you can do it yourself, unhook it from the canister, blow air through it and give it a few good whacks on your hand until you hear the valve come loose. Good luck

Huh... I'll be damned. Mine is easy to fill but I do get the gascap error, replaced the cap twice, but I do noticed that if it's really cold out the gas cap warning doesn't come on. Also I do notice when I fill up the pump never kicks off and i get gas all over the place even when I pump slow so I'm all like WTF!!! I'm not sure what that means but I'll give it a try.

Make sure nothing is living in the filler neck. Check for CEL active/stored codes.. Solenoids fail..... How many miles on the truck?
