Default obd code p0106 and p0506.

Idle Air Control (IAC) System RPM Lower Than Expected and Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit Range/Performance Problem. anyone having/had this same problem? im not to sure how or where to start with this. p0506 is normally an indicator for another code, in this case p0106.
any suggestions would be helpful.

You didn't have to wait until you had a problem to join. Just kidding. Welcome Aboard. Seriously, one of the chief causes for the the P0506 code is a dirty throttle body.
The P0106 is a weird one, means 'the MAP sensor is stuck within the normal operating range'. I would try cleaning the throttle body, get the codes erased, and see if they return.
Here's the 'How To' on cleaning the throttle body: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=54407
