Installing a GM09SR in a 2005 Colorado

Does anybody know how to install a relay inline with the GM09SR from scosche. I am having problems with the GM09SR drawing power when the truck is off which causes the battery to go dead when the truck is not in use (aka overnight).

Any help is greatly appreciated.

(the GM09SR came with the relay, but, in my case, no instructions to install.)

IF your GM09SR is causing problems more likely it is either wired wrong or is defective.

I did a Google and found the wiring instructions for your GM09SR from scosche.
