Default Low fuel light?

Dose anyone know how much fuel you have left once this light comes on? I drive a 05 coly, with a I5, 5 speed. It dosent tell you in the maunual.

I believe they are set to come on when you have 2 gallons left.

we have a low fuel light? never seen it, and ran out of gas at leat 4 times

A low fuel message comes on in the DIC.

Ive only had it tell me low fuel once, and according to the manual i have a 19 gallon tank and on several ocations put in more than 18 gallons according to the gas pump so when exactly is it supposed to tell me. the best bet imo is to fill up before or when you hit a 1/4 tank

I've ran mine out a couple times and put close to 21 in when it was all said and done. I got around 30 miles outta mine from when the light came on. Something like that. I don't plan on doing it again though. lol
