Default Check engine light on with the following codes...

My check engine light is on. It's solid not flashing so according to the colorado owners manuel its an emission system related issue. the four codes that come up in my reader are:

1.P0030 H02S heater control circuit bank 1 sensor 1
2.P0036 H02S heater control circuit bank 1 sensor 2
3.P0135 02 sensor heater circuit bank 1 sensor 1
4. P0141 02 sensor heater circuit bank 1 sensor 2

I was just thinking when I install 2 aux gauges in my truck I was low on gas(low fuel indicator on dash came on) and I cut the engine on and off several times in a 5 minute period checking the gauges I installed maybe its just sediemnt in my fuel line? About 9 months ago when I was broke for a few weeks I was riding the truck down to empty a lot and my check engine light came on too. I just used a can of sea foam and the light went off about 2 days later. Could these codes be indiciating the same? Or did I short something out?

For future reference: You can continue to update one thread. We don't need 3 different threads about your CEL.

Now, on to trying to be helpful:
Those are all oxygen sensor codes, it has nothing to do with your fuel line. It likely doesn't have anything to do with your recent gauge installation, either.

Kinda curious that you've got both sensors gone at once, though.

Check all the fuses and make sure you didn't blow one (I don't even know what fuse these'd be on), but I'd think your problem isn't anything you caused. I'd also consider clearing the codes and seeing if they come back. If they come back and you're still under 80k miles, take it to the dealer, emissions components have an 80k mile warranty.

Side note: Running the truck down to empty won't throw CELs, nor will it burn out your fuel pump, it's made to do that, you'll be just fine.

Sorry about the multi post thing :-/
Anyway just cleared the codes. turned car back on at Wawa. Light came back on. Same codes. About to check fuses. Will dealership honor the 80k mile warranty (i have 74K) even thought Ive put in gagues/stereo equipment and a few other mods like an intake?

Yeah, those mods shouldn't affect the O2 sensors at all.

If for some reason they're not going to honor the emissions warranty and claim that your mods did cause it, they'd also have to prove that your modification caused it. Look up Magnasson-Moss act and take a brief read through that if you want to be more prepared, just in case they do try to pull something on you.

No worries, GM's original warranty is transferable, and so that should still be valid any any GM dealer, although you're more likely to have a Chevy dealer service it with less of a fight than a GMC dealer.
