Default P0455 Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected

P0455 Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected (gross leak) - Not too sure what I should be looking for. Came on this morning, I scanned it when I got home. I did gas up at a new gas station(and different brand) on the weekend. Something I should clean maybe?

Check the solenoid under the bed, looks like a soup can with a hose running into a rectangular black box near the spare tire. just pull the hose and canister off the rectangular box, clean it up and test the solenoid.

I had the same problem and ended up having to get a new one.

Just look at the rubber gasket on the gas cap and go from there. This code is sensitive to that item leaking and not sealing well.

I cleared the code... it came back 2 days later. I believe it is the fuel cap, I can hear the air when standing near the gas cap with the truck running. A friend said if the truck is under warranty, you can just walk into a dealership and they'll give you a new cap??? I also noticed when putting the cap back on I should let it clock once... I'm used to my wife's echo that you should hear it click several times before it seals... thanks guys, I'll keep ya posted.
