05 Colorado Drivers side window problem

I was reading a bunch of these posts about the drivers side window switch having problems. My window will initially go down but will not go back up. Sometimes if I pull up on the window and hit the switch at the same time it will go up. The other times I hit the bottom side of the door and it will go up. I do not have any issues with the power locks or the other window. Does anyone think the switch could cause just the window to act up and if not has anyone had to install the window regulator?

sounds like motor to me as well, haven't had issues on my Colorado but other older cars had this. For a long time I felt manual windows were better because of how common the problem was in aging vehicles.
