I've actually thought of doing this, because there actually is a variable to tell if you've ever logged in your account or not and when the last time logged in was. However, deleting from a database is risky if a mistake is made.. don't want to delete someone accidently.

The SQL is very easy to write. And MySQL will allow you to copy tables or databases so you have a testbed to play in.

This is correct, however with such large tables it is difficult to reinstate a member if they were accidentally removed. You could just restore the whole database, however this would be a tedious process to go back and forth like this.
We may look into this when phpbb v3 is released however.

How do I delete my profile / account ?
I've searched, I even sent an email, with no response.

I've had some bad experience with online identity fraud and want to get rid of a lot of accounts that I have created over the years.
