This is on 00' Chevy Silverado 5.3. I assume the engine has been improve in the last 8 yrs, so number could be bigger.

Hard to read the image

Re: CFans Exclusive: V8 Power For The Colorado/Canyon

I just read through the whole manual on how to install it on the Cadillac CTS-V.

Looks like it's an all day project.

I can't imagine the 5.3 in the Colorado being any different of a process.

Looks like we'll definitely have to wait for them to build a sufficient kit for the Colorado.

Magnacharger was in the process of designing a CARB EO kit for the 3.5 but scrapped it when GM released the 3.7.

I don't see a 5.3L 355 version being a problem now. So long as GM doesn't kill it in the next model year or two.

Re: CFans Exclusive: V8 Power For The Colorado/Canyon

I called Edelbrock and they have no plans to make a twin/single screw Supercharger for the 5.3 or the Colorado V8. I know same difference, but that's the way the rep said it. Their focus this year is on the FI Mustang engines, some kind of fancy new supercharger for Mustangs.

He recommend calling Jegs, to see if one of their suppliers was making one.
