Colorado Bison?

GM applied for a trademark on the Colorado Bison name on Oct. 10th. What's it mean?

I like the luxury model Collie theory. A lot. But a V8 diesel would be worthy of the Bison name.

Well its either a throwback to heavy duty big rigs GM sold in the 70s that had the name:

...or turbine powered:

Maybe it's just me, but those just don't scream "sales!". lol. I'm trying to imagine a hybrid of the two, and it's breaking my brain!

Maybe a commercial version of the new ZH2 that was developed for military use.

I mean, at some point we will want some type of power cell or future tech to be incorporated in our vehicles.

looking at that Bison vehicle concept that was turbine powered made the connection in my mind that maybe they are toying with a street version of the ZH2. Just a guess but i think it would be cool and forward thinking.

Maybe instead of the ZR2 namesake we are all expecting, maybe it will be called the Bison?
