2017 Colorado Z71 Offroad . South Texas

Hello everyone I'm just trying to gain knowledge and maybe new ideas on these's Colorados.. I have a 3 1/2 inch Heavy Metal cheapo lift , running 285/70/17 on Black Rhino wheels .. yes I had to to some trimming with primarily the front side of the front wheel wells. Westin grill guard wraps up the front end

Well, for one, plastic dip those bowties in black.

And welcome to our humble home away from home.....where we spend too much $$$ on our mods and think thats normal behavior.

South Texas? Might as well call that north Mexico. Lol. Sorry, had to.

Truck looks good! Not a fan of the bumper but you're paying the note so what the hell does my opinion mean?

Welcome! Nice looking rig. You definitely are in the southern portion of the state. I guess you have your choice of scrub or beach running in that area. The grill guard would seem to say you favor the scrub running. Anyway, come on in, glean what you can, and contribute what you got!

Hey thanks and yes it's in just north if Mexico it does get a little crazy here along the border, South Padre Island and Boca Chica beach are great for sand running and fishing .. I literally have less that a month with my Colorado but absolutely love driving it . I have a 1.5 zone body lift in the foreseen future , I will send updates and beach pics... I agree the bow ties need to be blacked out. Thanks again .

Thanks brother , I'm just hoping I don't regret downsiZing , I had a 2008 1500 z71 jacked up , just had issues with oil leaks from everywhere...so poured Lucas oil everywhere and got a good trade in value . The Colorado is fun and easy to maneuver but I had the other one for almost 10yrs.. I do love the tech stuff in this one .
