Thumbs up Happy to join the discussion

I'm in the market to replace my 05 Tacoma and have been lurking here for a few months to see what's going on with the twins. The posts here have been very helpful and I'm looking forward to joining the discussion.

Welcome!! I'm a former 2007 tacoma owner myself (for 9 years). There are several 'converts' who've jumped to the dark side. LOL

Just remember - you gotta make a decision for YOU in what you want/need.

Good Luck!

Jan is correct, you need to make a decision on what is best for you.

Seat comforts, etc. all have to play into your decision. What is comfortable for one may be totally a disaster for the next. Heck, lately we have at least one guy pretty much sold on the comforts of the Nissan Frontier. The other thing I would tell anyone who is not in a rush is to wait to see what Ford offers in the new Ranger.

Welcome aboard, hope you learn some helpful information here.

Welcome and i agree with both of them!!! and like Cary said dont rush. both Ford and Nissan are going to be coming back into the market by 2018-19ish i guess. The Ranger is looking to be doing what GM did with the twins and bring over their Global model and tweak it to US specs and slight redesign. so far it looks pretty cool
but....I love my Chev and doubt ill ever trade it

Cary is spot on.

Here is a tip... Go to the Chevy dealer on your Tacoma (phycological warfare) and ask if they offer a 24 Hr test drive; most do. Hit them on a Saturday; if they let you, it will be 48 Hr test drive (closed on Sundays). See if you like it. Then, if you are interested, contact all the Chevy dealers and tell them what you want. Whoever comes with the best deal, jump on it.

There is a low on car sales across all manufacturers, take advantage of their low sales volume, ask for incentives. I walked out paying for my V6 2016 LT w/Convinience package and Z82 Towing Package, brand new off the lot on 2015 for $26,800; even the Dealer went to another state to get it.

You are the one footing the bill so make them sweat the sale.
