Bluetooth Question

I have a 2012 Colorado equipped with Bluetooth. So since the whole concept of Bluetooth is to be hands free I was wondering if anyone has had any luck in getting you pin number to dial automatically when accessing your voice mail ?? I have a Samsung android phone with Verzion and I can use the pause command (in the call settings/voicemail/pause) and the phone will automatically dial the pin ( when finished the number looks like this example in the settings on the phone....*86,,0000) it works like a champ on the phone. The way this thing works is that you set up a pause until the voice mail picks up (I have mine set for 2 pauses,) and then your phone will send the tones for the pin. I can't get it to work with the Bluetooth, I can get the voicemail dialed and it picks up but it will not send the tones for the pin, you have to enter them on the phone (and yes I have tried to enter more pauses to no avail). I was wondering if anyone on here has figured out a way to get this to work ??? Sure would be a nice feature if we can figure it out !!!

OK after some more research I figured it out and here is the procedure.......enter your voice mail as a name tag as described in the OM (mine and all Verizon customers is *86 as far as I know, you will actually say "STAR 86") name it "Voice Mail" (or what ever you like). once you have your Voice Mail name tag set press the Bluetooth button and follow the commands to call "Voice Mail". Once your voice mail picks up and the Verizon (or who ever you have) voice prompt welcomes you press the Bluetooth button again and say "dial", when prompted say your pin. (usually 4 digits and Pound) and your pin will be dialed (you will actually hear the tones). While you are connected to your "Voice Mail" All of your voice mail commands can be done this way by just pressing the Bluetooth button again and saying "dial" then saying the menu number you desire. For example you want to delete the message you just listened to, press the Bluetooth button say "dial" and when prompted say 7 (Verizon's delete command) some of you probably have a lot of things on your phones that require pins, now you can access them totally hands free with out having to pick up your phone and dial and that's what this is about safety 1st, please don't text and drive
