Question Tell us your age - Poll

I didn't find a thread like this before - but I was curious to see what our age groups look like.

There is a demographics thread that is fairly interesting but didn't have an age poll.

I'll be interested to see if there are any other young-ens like me...

Shouldn't the last one just say 56+
Or maybe add another row that say 66+

56-65+ just doesn't make sense to me.

Though I'm 26 I put 25 since that's how old I was when I purchased it. I know, I know, I'm a dam millennial...
Definitely seems like a majority of twins owners are older. I haven't seen one in person being driven by anyone appearing younger than 30-35

Now that you've gone and altered the categories, my vote isn't registered properly (see "older than dirt" earlier in the thread).

I'm 24 and starting to feel like I'm not old enough to be driving this truck. In my area I have only ever seen the respectable elderly community driving them.

This. There's one other person my age driving a Collie in my town. Went to school with her but she's probably 28? She got pretty cute and has good taste in vehicles so I'll have to say hey. ;)

Take this for what it is - (no offense) - just curious.

When I was in my 20's -.....My first car - My dad bought me this 10 year old piece of crap from a junkyard that just barely ran on 4 cylinders. I had to pay him back for every penny of it ($500). He couldn't afford it (he was paying my way thru school) and I couldn't afford it (living at school).

How are you young whipper snappers able to afford these trucks? The assumption is (again, our old age thought process) ...that someone else actually owns it and pays for the loan. You still live at home. You're lucky enough to have a dang good paying job (and still live at home). Or...you're in debt up to your eyeballs!! LOL

No need to answer.....I've probably crossed the 'privacy' line.

Again - its how us old folks think - we could never afford something this nice back then.

No offense taken here. Others may not care to share but I'm game.

Had a hand me down truck I bought from my older brother. Then when I went to college that ¾ ton extended cab long bed Silverado's 9 mpg on a good day had to go. So I found a used Pontiac G5 GT. Parents wrote a check and over the next year I worked and paid them back.

Fast forward eight years later and I traded that POS Pontiac in on this beautiful truck. I'm out of college and landed a killer IT job that pays me well.

You should got a G8 instead...

Anyway, I think this truck appeals to midle agre group. In my opinion it has to he with size and fuel economy. Trucks are getting to big to even find a decent parking spot and they are big time gas guzzlers. I see the resonung, makes economical and practical sense.

Bought the truck for the wife; I rather drive my G8 GT every day :D

I'm not afraid to share either.

First off due to my hardworking parents, I am extremely blessed and they were able to pay for my college education. I still worked during the weekend at our local hardware store/lumberyard gaining work experience and eventually my CDL (very thankful as that gave me opportunities after college that my degree didn't). Bout 8 Months after graduation I was offered a job as a project coordinator at the same company my Dad work at. It payed well and offered me a steady income. When I got that job I determined that I would be able to afford the Colorado. My father co-signed for me, but for him to do so I had to be sure I could afford the truck and move out if necessary. I am still at home but paying for all my bills and rent (including the truck and all that goes with that). I have also recently been promoted to a Project Manager. At this point I am waiting for my girlfriend of 7 years to finish college this spring and also saving up to move out with her. Then things progress from there.

At the end though, I will say I have been very lucky/blessed and do my best not to take that for granted.
