Thumbs down Ads......!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH

How can I remove these ads? The way they load on the screen is driving me insane. Can I pay a fee to be a premium member so I don't have to see them?

About 1 second after I load the page, the whole page shifts down, usually about the same time I click on the next topic to read....mistakenly opening the one above.

The cause the site to be laggy (I get it, that is how it makes money to continue existing), but I would be willing to pay (and have in the past) a premium fee to not see them.

2016 Colorado LT Diesel
Red Rock, Sports bar, Black 5" assist steps, EGT and Boost Gauge with custom bezel mount (on order)
AFE Magnum Intake and Bladerunner Hot/Cold side Kit

AFE Rebel side exit turbo back w/ Black tips (on order)

Adblock Plus and AdBlock - havent seen an add forever. And not only for this website, it blocks them everywhere. If the blocker fails to do so, you can actually "tag" the add and "teach" the blocker that it is an add.

I second the recommendation for Adblock Plus. On this very page I am looking at it blocked 20 intrusive ads. It does not block the legitimate ads which may be the ones that pay the forum. I do not see any of them on this current page.

Interesting, my adblock on Chrome only shows it blocked 3 ads on this page. I don't see any ads either, very cool! What is annoying as heck is those few sites that see you are using an adblocker so you have to pause it.

Every browser will have a different number of irritating ads that are blocked. The bottom line is they are blocked because you do not see them. If you want to allow content from sites that notify you about the use of an ad blocker, it is easily done by clicking the ABP symbol. It is not an annoyance to have manual control of these scam adds.

Look at ABP as a catch can for your browser. The difference is you can see the results in no ads.

Funny, but I can see the results of my can, it gets full of some nasty SH#T that the poor little 3.6 now doesn't have to burn. lol

**Ok, if this ad thread turns into a catch can thread it has got to be some kind of Guinness Book, award winning first! ahahahaha****

You can see the results of ABP on every page. It represents the number of SH*T ads your poor little mind does not have to process.

I wouldn't recommend Adblock or Adblock Plus. They have white-listed some adverting companies to generate profits for themselves, which defeats the purpose of their product.

Adblock Plus defends new "whitelisting" ad platform

uBlock Origin is a better option for now.

I remember this and wasn't surprised. As usual, a start up gets to big for their britches and loses sight of their original intent/purpose when money gets waved in their face. I still use them but haven't had issues as of yet.

I had to use ad blocker, the site was so slow you could barely read it before.
