Good luck

I have noticed that the passneger side is higher than the driver side (after the drop) I really DONT want to cut anything.. is there any other way to remedy this problem? I'm riding a 2004 GMC Canyon with a 3/3 DJM lowering kit (control arms in the front & blocks in the back)

Welcome, you've just discovered the Chevy lean. 99% of these trucks have it, nothing abnormal.

If you don't wanna cut the coils, you can certainly waste your money on the Belltech spacers to shim the driver's side up.

I'd just cut it, but it's your truck and your money.

Re: Ultimate Static Drop FAQ, How To's, Part #s and Helpful Info

ok i have the zq8 with the 17inch wheels and i put 2in springs on the front and after reading this i've learned that it only dropped the front an inch i wanna leave the springs and run either the belltech balljoints or the djm control arms but im not real sure how the controls arms will do any advice on this situation? i have the belltech leafs out back to help the ride but i kno im gonna have to block it to get it level with the front unless anyone knows of something better.

I think the control arms will drop you too much. You'll have major running issues up front. The BJ's and you might be alright for a while, untill your stock shocks give out. And there's really no cure for that right now, other than Coilovers. Those new belltech shocks that came out won't stop rubbing problems so I wouldn't plan on those helping much.

My QA1 adjustable coilovers set to the stiffest setting is almost like being at full lock. You'd have to hit a pretty big bump or dip to rub at that setting.

Re: Ultimate Static Drop FAQ, How To's, Part #s and Helpful Info

i still have a good amount of clearance up front i switched to a 245/45/17 tire and i have about 3inches of fender gap up front so if i did the BJ and the new belltech shox it would rub? hmm i dont know what im going to do then i dont really have the money for the coilovers right now but i want a decent ride and low stance....

Yes, you will still rub. Like I said, don't count on the shocks to help any, if at all with rubbing issues. I just intalled them and am less than impressed. But these shocks are NOT for solving rubbing issues though so I wasn't expecting them to do so.
