could you extrapolate on you air ride set up? what kind of compressor do you use? how much range in ajustment do you get? what kind of payload increase can be expected? etc...very interested in this idea, thanks for the input.

Garage
I pull small trailers, carry heavy payloads and needed some way to keep the bumper from scraping the ground.
I have about a 3-inch maximum lift depending on payload. I prefer to keep the truck level plus the additional 1000 lbs payload capacity was a plus.
Very easy to install!

another good way to lift the rear is the setup that i got from jcwhitney.com they are 1500lb coilsprings that when positioned right will also give 2" lift in the rear. the main reason that i went with these is because i tow a lot and they elinimate the sway from our weak rear springs. cost was 29.99 plus shipping, the ride is a little stiffer but you get that from the t-bars as well

Yes, because they might think you have a stock truck and would want to let you know those arent the right shocks to be getting. That is of course provided that they actually care about their customers.

Thanks dustinjamesz for the heads up.

What I did is that I put 2" lift but I specified that I needed the rs5190s.

Where it says enter model or make, just add it in there somewhere.

Supermod, what did you do with that compressor box on your page? Did you build it to mount your compressor inside and then change your mind?

So back to the rear shock issue, can I just go into an Advanced Auto and ask them for Ranch shocks for the colly, or do i have to be specific in what i ask for? Im dumb founded.

You have to ask for the 5190s if you have lifted the rear. But you can find them much cheaper online if you look around.

I did install my shocks once I made the shackles.
The shackle and shock install took a little over 30 minutes.
It is extremely easy to do.

Always ask for the rs5190's They fit like a glove.
