Do you have to get new shocks for the front?

You don't have to but most do. If you go offroading or over extended the rear suspension you run the risk of blowing a shock out.

Hole to hole your shackles need to be 8 inches for 2 inches of lift over stock.

For a Z71, 32's won't rub at all, I'm running 32x11.5. 33x10.5 will also fit. I'm 99% sure Z85 should be just fine especially with 2 inches of lift.

Just used this write up to put bubbaloo's shackles and RS 5190s on.

Quick note, but all the shackle bolts and bottom shock bolts were 13/16", not 3/4". I pulled the 3/4" socket out, was confused on why it didn't fit and then grabbed the 13/16" socket to find it fit perfectly... btw, it's a 2006 Crew Z71, if that might start making a difference?

And 06_Rado, when we meet up on Sunday, you can take a look at the shackles/TB, and see that 32s will have no problem... Or, you could swap tires with me, let me drive around with them for a season or two, and then I can tell you first hand how they work...

Yup. Agree with Canyon. Rear Shackle and lower bolts on the shocks are 21mm. The front shock lower bolt is 15mm... And the top nut was different than listed as well. I can't off hand remember what size wrench I used though. Either way, this writeup helped me alot. I had never done shocks or anything with suspension before, and I got er done.. Well........... hours later....
