This is the first thing I'm going to my xtreme, they SAY that it doesn't ruin comfort, but you can't reduce suspension travel on anything and have the same ride quality, especially a jittery little mini truck :) I say screw ride comfort, I bought a truck, and style is everything :P

I just did a belltech 2/3 static drop on my truck and love it! Had to remove spare tire for rear weight reasons but thats what I got roadside assistance for Anyways....took a bunch of pics that I will be posting. Took awhile to do in my garage with only hand tools, but the pride of it was worth it. Wish I had AIR tools, lol.
P.S......There was lots of sweat and a few tears but no blood!
P.S.S.....IT RIDES LIKE A LOWERED TRUCK if anyone asks. Not extremely rough, but rougher than stock

I lowered my 2005 when it was brand new. It's now time for shocks. Will stock shocks work for the front with it being lowered 2"? If not what do you recommend?

Just joined the Forum and have been doing a lot of research on what set up to get for my 04 ZQ8.

The Belltech 2" coil spring drop. Is it truly a 2" drop on the ZQ8? Read on some old post that it really only drops it 1" and need to cut coil to make it a full 2" drop.

With the 3" block in the rear only issue is the bump stop correct?

Would really like the DJM 3/4, but from reading that would definitely require frame notch correct?

I'm riding on the stock wheels right now and just want to take some of the fender gap away, but still want to keep some of the ride quality.

Thanks in advance for any help.
