Default before axle turndown system vs cool duals

so im debating on either the before axle turndown system or the rear exit cool duals.
im looking for a good tone along with the performance gains, what would be the best choice?

I am getting the turndown before axle system. But I'v read alot on here that the other exhausts such as the duals, dont drone as much in the cabin. I myself, like the clean look of no exhaust exiting the rear of the truck and thats why im going with the turndown. Its really just a preference thing.

A constant noise when cruising at speed
with stock exhaust you could hear drone when cruising at say 4000rpm in first gear at a constant speed
but when cruising on the highway in overdrive you wouldnt hear anything. but with an aftermarket exhaust you may hear drone in that situation

Do you know what you're talking about here?

Sure, the turndown will create more in-cab noise (drone), however it will also be louder than a rear-exit exhaust. A turndown dumps the exhaust directly onto the pavement, letting the "exhaust noise" bounce back off of it.

I've run turndowns before on my v-8, and I can assure you that they are much louder than both rear and side-exit exhaust.

Absolutely correct! The exhaust hits the pavement and resonates out more, making it sound more powerful. By cutting the exhaust off shorter with the axle turn down it will allow the exhaust to flow out faster and easier also rather than having to run the extra length of piping out the side or back. If you live in an area that floods or you do a lot of mudding it would be better to do the full exhaust system out the side or back.

I have always liked the look of dual pipes exiting the back.
