The truck was delivered to me, everything was mainly done by phone.
The gentlemen that delivered it led me to believe that it had keyless entry.
My concern is that the truck does not have power locks...

The remote will start the vehicule.
And when I press lock, the lights flash and I get a horn beep, but the doors don't lock. Same with unlock, light flash but does not unlock.
If I hold the lock button, it seems to be like the alarm goes off.
But upon "locking", I can open the door and no alarm goes off.

Different solutions given, but I found this one and was wondering if the product is good or not. I even tried the chat support but the rep could not answer my question!?

Basically, will this work if I do NOT currently have a lock on my tailgate?

Okay so I didn't have my truck for a little over 6 months, a friend was borrowing since I have a work vehicle. He did't report any issues with it.

The problem is while driving the truck shifts fine up to 3rd but when I try to pass or going up a steep incline my trucks sits at 4-5k RPM and won't shift and on inclines of course my speed decreases.

Going up hill I noticed my temp gauge go up to 3/4 mark but when I slowed down and the RPMs lowered the gauge went back to normal 1/2 mark.

When mashing the gas to pass the other day I noticed a clicking sound, I don't know if that could be related.

I still have reverse.

Any help is greatly appreciated before I take it to the dealer or my shop.

This probably has nothing to do with it, bu tit was my first thought when I noticed the problem. I have a cut out installed on the truck (after the CAT but before the Muffler), and run with it off more than I should in CA, and I thought it might have been an engine problem at first because I thought I was loosing power maybe from not enough back pressure.
