I think im going to buy the Goodmark 2" Ram Air hood.

Does that let heat escape out the back like the 2" cowl?
and does anybody have the raim air hood with an airraide intake?

Yeah, but don't you have the keystone hood?
I want the goodmark 2"

unless it's the same underneath..?

I said yes, I do have a ram air...with a airaid...but i had to remove the heat shield to be able to fit it..(basically just a filter)

As for the cowl...I think it does release the hot air....unless,thats the rk sport one.One of my buddies has that hood in this web-site.

i think i have seen that keystone hood for like 550-700 unpainted and then there still is freight shipping. it is an expensive hood, but i agree with most people that it is the best looking hood out there for the rado right now

i have heard that, i think i even remeber reading one member who ordered his online, when it got their it was cracked nad didn;t fit right, he had to pay a shop like $400 to repair the fibergalss and also to lay some new glass to make the hood fit perfectly, and then he still had to drop another like 250 or so for to be painted, i think his total was like 1300 or so

The first thing that the company said when I bought it was..."If it comes damaged in the package, when you receive it....we will send you a brand new one...no extra charge".So, I checked it and it was fine.As for the fitting...the fitting is ok...but could be better...like I said,You got to play with it for a little to get it right.... :)

I had to do the same thing to my hood. A good body shop will make it work. I also trimmed the top of the air aid heat shield to make the intake work with the hood.

The hood goes for about $700. Fit and Paint will run in between $300-$600 depending on the shop.
Hey Three50Bowtie...does your hood sit right now...did u mess with it alittle??

nice, that is around what i thought it would cost, but man those hoods look nice... i am not even buying for the functioning ram air, i just love the way it looks

My hood did not sit 100% perfect. It was within my standards but your sits better. I actually don't have my Colorado anymore but the person who I sold it loves the way the truck looks with the hood.
