Pretty sure its just a show truck. Purpose would be to draw attention to (ie., advertise for) the shop that built it.

Yea, I'm being facetious and sarcastic. I realize there is a niche for show only trucks that advertise a business. Hopefully the owner got a huge business tax write off. That's the only logical reason for doing this.

ya its a few years old but its still a really nice truck. It used to be all black. If i remember right they kept the same engine but supercharged it. I may be wrong though. But the 49" Irok fills the whole bed. I wonder what the gearing is

I agree, NO purpose for this truck what-so-ever except to look at.
But if i was going invest enough money to put in a straight axle,
lift her up that high, buy some big beefy tires, upgrade the engine
then it would definitely have a purpose, MUDDIN'!!! :D

If I had that truck I would have fun with it. No doubt about it. It would have a completely new paint job in about 5 minutes.

i laughed when i saw that too,

dude there is a car audio shop north of ft worth by my buddy's house.. the SHOW TRUCK of theirs is a white and purple nissan or 'yota or something... on like 50bajillion inch tires... and has 16 shocks on it- nope- not 4 per corner... it actually has 1 or 2 shocks mounted directly from a random point on the front axle- right on up to the stock front bumper. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA i'll try to get a pic this week... its the poster-truck for "too much time/$$ not enough smarts."

seriously... shocks from axle to bumper... and then another 14 shocks kinda randomly attached here and there. its almost a religious experience.

when will people learn... multiple shocks are for prerunners that have RAPID up and down wheel travel for extended periods of use... and even most prerunners, which warrant multiple shocks, just run a good single shock instead. king, fox, saw, bilstein.
