I just slam the pedal down and bam burnout... Thats actually the reason I bought the truck. When the salesmen handed me the keys and said take it for a spin I got in pushed the pedal down ( it wasn't mine so I had to test out the power) and burned out right in front of him and everyone else there. I've been in love ever since.

Mine used to do it stock...I can't do it anymore...I was able to with the stock General tires...but I can't for the life of me break these Nitto Terra Grapplers loose...they just hook up too damn well, even in water. Maybe once I do my intake and get a tune.

You have a 3.5 or a 3.7? You could poor a little bleech on the tires or wd-40 to get them started, then they will smoke up faster too. I recomend a tune.

yeah bleech softens the tire and makes it smoke up quick. It looks pretty cool and draws a crowd

i can't burnout either. I could stock, but the stock tires would just hop real bad. Power braking won't work fo us because the computer cuts the engine power when brake is on. Plus the computer limits torque on initial accerlation anway up to a certain RPM. I have some mods too but these general grabber UHP street tires are awesome. They are very sticky...

Replace the gears in the rear diff. with a higher gear ratio gear set. Match the front if it's 4x4.

Even my 2009 with the 5.3 wont spin the tires off the line and thats with the traction control off.

It's the computer. Damn nannies cutting power, get a tune and they can get rid of that. My Titan had it bad. It had almost 400 ft lbs tq stock and I also had mods on it and it wouldn't burnout either. A friend of mine with the same truck and no mods just a tune could roast 'em!

Yep. There is torque management in both the engine and the transmission. And even with the traction control off, there still is not 100% power being delivered to the axles.
