I like the sound in all 4 doors but I made a bad choice with the rear doors. All I can say is get GOOD speakers.

OOPS sorry I put infinity Kappa 62.7i in rear and reference 6020cs in front. The Kappas in the rear I headed for the TRASH they sound bad when you turn it up. I really think I am going to put Focals up front and may move the 6020cs to the rear.

Alright so I hear that the 6.5 speakers need a harness to mount them because the whole is too big for them to mount perfectly. Has anyone used a 6 3/4 inch speaker and does it fit without the modded speaker harness?

I want to get a better pair of Blaupunkt speakers from Crutchfield (mostly because I like the convenience they give by giving you pretty much everything you need to install it for free). Otherwise I would go with Audiobahn. But for now I'm going to have the stock HU driving the new speakers until I can get enough to buy a new HU.

My rear door speaker blew and I gather it's time to change them out. I just a bunch of articles that say the speaker harness that comes free from Crutchfield is a POS in some models. Just want to know if anyone here has any experience with them. I'm skeptical about it, I don't need my speakers falling into my door and breaking.

Thanks in advance
