Put my jtr crossmember in. Easy install, everything went smooth.

loosened exhuast bolts, put jack under cat put tension and retighted, plenty of clearance.

jtr crossmember has plenty of adjustment to make every thing line up perfectly. HIGHLY RECCOMMEND. $175 shipped to my door.

Use a Sawzall with 6" Dewalt Bi-Metal 18 teeth/in blade, place the edge of the saws foot at a 45 degree angle to the BOTTOM of the frame. Use the bottom inside edge of the frame as a guide for the side of blade. One cut with no grinding takes about 3 minutes per side for a mechanically inclined person with a good eye.

Both CCC and GTC make one like that.

Very nice. Personally I would have cut off the OEM mounts on the frame alltogethor, but none the less good job.

I used a cut off wheel on a grinder. I cut off just what I needed. Laying down sucks plus you got exhaust on one side and gas lines on the other.

It looks like you did a really solid job. Did you need to put anything in between the framerails to keep them from twisting when you remove the original crossmember? How long have you had the JTR crossmember installed? Do you notice a big difference as far as driveability goes? Did you have to paint it or anything like that pre installation? Thinking of putting one on my truck before winter sets in so any information you could give me is greatly appreciated. Thanks boss.

Ive had mine about 8 months. the member came not coated, so i painted it. I have not seen any signs of any problems. I highly recommend it.
