I went with the zone 5.5 lift and used 1.5” spacers with my factory 18” wheels.

how big of tires can go on the chevy 18's?

 

I wouldn’t want to go larger than 33x12.50’s

 

Did you upgrade shocks? Do I need to? Front , rear or both? I’m new to this if you couldn’t tell.

 

I went with 285/65/18’s They are about 32.5x11.5”

 

Yes you will have to have longer shocks on rear but fronts can still be used with zone lift and I think with rc

Ride is basically like factory. Ride is relative to size and load rating of tires. Choose them according to your preference of ride, looks,and use of your truck.

I have eibachs on front but will be putting billstien 5100’s on as soon as they become available again. I have rc shocks on the back and they seem to be a little stiff but were all I could find and afford at the time. I would love to have a set of kings or fox’s but not within my budget lol.

This is hard! I gotta say I love it too.

 

I have the RC 4" on mine, cant complain about the full length shoscks in lieu of a spacer, however having the spacer is nice if u dont plan to go larger the say a 2.5" bilstein 6112. CV angles are gret on the RC 4" as well.

Further, If u do decide to go bigger later Zone will sell u the spacer for the front for 80 bucks.... or just add a small level on top of the RC shock... or finally buy the 6' lift shock from RC>.... They provide the spacer in their 4" kit for your transfer case ( i think thats the right place)

 

have a 6" rough country on my 2017 for 3 yrs kit came with everything you need except the mechanic .I haven't had any problems at all and are using 275/70 Toyo 's
